Recent examples of drone implementation

We have recently been reading more and more articles about drones, so in this issue we have done some research on drones. We thought that replacing the automated guided vehicles used in MaaS with drones would have almost the same application, but we found that drones can be used in a far wider range of fields than MaaS.

Both fields have never existed before, but drones are expected to be used more and more in the future because of the limited number of companies entering the market and because they cannot only improve convenience but also contribute to quality improvement and safety by inspecting high places and narrow areas, which was not possible in the past.

Here’s what we learned from examining recent examples of drones:
・ It is carried out all over the country from Hokkaido to Okinawa.
・ Although most of the industries are transportation, they are also used for equipment inspection, agriculture, and construction.
・ Regarding transportation, demonstration experiments on public transportation in mountainous areas and vast areas
Has been implemented in large numbers and is almost in the stage of practical use.
・ Verification is underway with the aim of achieving level 4 in autonomous driving.
